This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Who is responsible for your information
Florence Healthcare International is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have a question or want to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at apply@florence.com.tr or through our Contact page.
What information we collect
When you contact us, request an appointment or a second opinion, or subscribe to updates, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, contact details, country, and any medical information or reports you choose to share so that our team can respond and help plan your care.
We also collect limited technical information automatically (such as device and usage data) through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
Your consent for health information
Health and medical information is a special, more sensitive category of personal data. Where a form on this website asks you to describe your condition or upload medical reports, we ask you to explicitly confirm your consent before it is submitted, and we use that information only to respond to your enquiry and support your care. You can withdraw consent for future use of your information at any time by contacting us — this does not affect anything already processed on the basis of your earlier consent.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, prepare medical opinions and treatment plans, coordinate your care and travel, and improve our services. Medical information you share may be reviewed by the relevant treating clinicians.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing and international transfer
Enquiries submitted through this website are managed using Bitrix24, a third-party customer-relationship-management platform; the details you submit are shared with Bitrix24 solely for that purpose, under a data-processing agreement with our organization. Because we serve international patients, your information may also be processed in the countries where our hospitals and coordinators operate (Türkiye and the United Kingdom). Where information is transferred outside your home country, we apply appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry and contact details only for as long as needed to respond to you and to allow for reasonable follow-up. If you go on to receive care with us, your medical and treatment records are kept for the period required by the healthcare record-keeping law of the country where you were treated.
Security and your rights
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at apply@florence.com.tr. We aim to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — for example, without undue delay and within 30 days under Türkiye's KVKK, or within one month under the GDPR for patients in the EU/UK.
