Radiology & Imaging

Radiology & Imaging covers the full range of diagnostic imaging — MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography and bone-density scanning — alongside interventional radiology, where many conditions are diagnosed and treated through a needle or catheter under live imaging. Accurate images, read by experienced radiologists, underpin almost every treatment decision across the hospital.

Overview

One coordinated team, one plan for your care

Our radiologists work as part of every clinical team, reading and discussing scans alongside oncology, cardiology, neurology and surgery so that imaging directly guides each decision rather than sitting in isolation. The department combines high-field MRI, multi-slice CT, ultrasound and digital 3D mammography for detailed diagnosis with a dedicated interventional radiology service that performs biopsies, drainages, ablations and embolizations through tiny incisions — often sparing patients open surgery.

For patients travelling from abroad, a dedicated international coordinator arranges appointments and explains each scan in advance. Our specialists can review images and reports you already have remotely, give a clear opinion on whether further imaging or treatment is needed, and provide a transparent cost estimate before you travel — so a recent, good-quality scan need not always be repeated.

Radiology & Imaging — frequently asked questions

CT uses X-rays to build fast, detailed cross-sectional images and is excellent for bone, the chest and acute problems such as bleeding or injury. MRI uses a magnetic field — no radiation — and gives superior soft-tissue detail of the brain, spine, joints and many organs. Your team recommends the right test for your situation.

Yes. Share your existing MRI, CT, ultrasound or mammogram images and reports and our radiologists will review them remotely, advise whether further imaging or treatment is needed, and provide a transparent cost estimate. A recent, good-quality scan often does not need to be repeated.

Interventional radiologists use live imaging to guide thin needles and catheters that diagnose and treat conditions through tiny incisions — for example image-guided biopsy, tumor ablation, drainage and embolization — often avoiding open surgery and shortening recovery.
