Causes of renal failure in children
The causes of renal failure in children are different from those in adults.
The most common causes of renal failure in children can be listed as:
- Obstructive kidney diseases of the urinary tract due to urethral valve
- Metabolic diseases
- Congenital anomalies related to urinary bladder (vesica urinaria)
- Frequent infections,
- Congenital development disorders of the kidneys,
- Glomerular diseases of the kidney.
